1. ELIGIBILITY: The Pan Am Explorer Bag Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., 18 years of age or older who have Internet access as of October 10, 2011. Employees, officers and directors of American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Big Honcho Media, LLC (“Promotion Administrator”), Sony Pictures Television Inc., each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, promotional suppliers, and any persons involved in the creation, development or production (including cast and crew) of the Pan Am television show (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities") and the immediate family members (spouses and parents, children and siblings and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible. All applicable federal, state, and local rules apply. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins on or about 1:00 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 11, 2011 and ends at 1:00 PM ET on November 15, 2011 (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion Period consists of twenty five (25) separate and distinct Sweepstakes Periods as set forth in the chart below. Each Sweepstakes Period will begin at the Sweepstakes Period start time (“Sweepstakes Period Start Time”) and end at the Sweepstakes Period end time (“Sweepstakes Period End Time”) as specified in the chart below.
To participate in the Sweepstakes, you must have a Twitter account and become a follower of @PanAmABC on Twitter.com.
If you already have a Twitter account, go to http://twitter.com and log on using your Twitter user name and password, then become a follower of @PanAmABC by searching for “@PanAmABC” clicking on the “@PanAmABC” icon and then clicking the “Follow” button.
If you do not have a Twitter account, go to http://twitter.com and create a Twitter account according to the instructions on the website and then become a follower of @PanAmABC as directed above. Creating a Twitter account is free. Please note that you must agree to comply with the Twitter Terms of Service in order to create a Twitter account.
Once you become a follower of “@PanAmABC”, you will be required to submit a "Tweet" of one hundred forty (140) characters or less ("Statement"). Statement must include the hashtag “#panam.” Limit one (1) Twitter Entry per person/Twitter account per Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same Twitter account. By entering, participants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the final decisions of the Sponsor and Promotion Administrator.
3. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Potential prize winners will be selected in random drawings following each Sweepstakes Period on or about the dates and times specified in the chart below (the “Drawing Time”) from among all eligible Entries received during the corresponding Sweepstakes Period. Two (2) potential winners (each a “Winner”) will be randomly selected during each Drawing Time, for a total of fifty (50) potential Winners during the Promotion Period. To be eligible for any Sweepstakes Period, the Statement must be received by the applicable Sweepstakes Period End Time. Promotion Administrator’s computer shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Any use of micro, automatic, programmed, robotic, or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and entrants using such methods will be disqualified. All non-winning entries for a given Sweepstakes Period will NOT be carried forward to subsequent Sweepstakes Periods. In order to win a prize, the potential winner must be a follower of @PanAmABC at the time of the random drawing and when the potential winner is notified. The Promotion Administrator will notify the potential winner via Private Message through Twitter. If a potential winner cannot be reached by Private Message within two (2) days of the first notification attempt, an alternate potential winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. If the @PanAmABC account is blocked from contacting the potential winner via Private Message, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible, cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected.
Once a potential winner has responded to the Private Message notification, the potential winner will be sent additional verification paperwork via email, postal mail and/or express mail at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per family or household during the Promotion Period.

4. PRIZES: Fifty (50) prizes (“Prize”) are available. Each Prize consists of one (1) Pan Am promotional bag. Approximate Retail Value of each Prize is thirty eight dollars ($38). Approximate Retail Value of all Prizes is nineteen hundred dollars ($1,900).
All details of Prizes will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize(s) or portions thereof of equal or greater value if a prize listed or any portion thereof is unavailable for any reason. All taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of Prize are the sole responsibility of Winners.
5. CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant, on behalf of the entrant and entrant’s heirs, executors, and administrators, agrees: (a) to release and hold harmless Twitter, each of the Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, arising out of or related to such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize or any portion thereof; (b) to indemnify Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes; (c) that any Prizes are provided “as is” and Released Parties make no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any prize, including, without limitation, its quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose; (d) if selected as a Winner and by accepting a prize, to grant Sponsor and its designees permission to use such winner’s name, voice, image, and/or likeness for publicity, promotional, and advertising purposes (including without limitation, posting such winner’s name on the @PanAmABC Twitter Page) in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (e) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
6. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or the operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other “force majeure” event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of Entry information; for errors in any promotional or marketing materials or in these Official Rules; for any human or electronic error; or for Entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned. Sponsor reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these Official Rules) without notice in any manner and for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of a change by Twitter Inc. to its policies and terms or any other unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules). In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, Sponsor reserve the right to select Winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension. Notice of such cancellation, modification, or suspension will be posted on the @PanAmABC Twitter Page. Sponsor may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes.
7. WINNER LIST: To receive the winners’ names, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by December 31, 2011, to: Pan Am Explorer Bag Sweepstakes Winner List, 111 Broadway, Suite #505, New York, NY 10006.
